KAYA Jewellery Review and Giveaway!

Kaya jewelley

Spring is in the air and March is almost upon us. That means that we’ll soon be bombarded by Mothers’ Day promotions everywhere! I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and give you my review of some beautiful jewellery that would make a great gift idea as well as giving away a fantastic prize!!

Trying to find well fitting and comfortable jewellery for youngsters is hard. KAYA jewellery particularly stands out for the quality of their children’s jewellery.
If you are looking for a special mother’s day, christening, birthday or wedding gift then KAYA is a great place to look. More than children’s pieces, they also have fantastic necklaces and bracelets for Mum, Sisters or Aunties.

All pieces are handmade in the UK from natural materials such as crystal and freshwater pearl. This makes a change from some of the cheaper plastics used in a lot of kids jewellery.  I don’t like tacky cheap jewellery so I have struggled to find quality pieces in the past that wouldn’t break the bank.
KAYA include free gift packaging, polishing cloth and greeting card with every purchase.
Delivery is free too which is always a bonus and my jewellery arrived in under a week making it a great option for last minute ordering.

I always love a brand with a story; back in 2012, mum Tanja she saw a gap in the market for matching mum and daughter jewellery. Like most little girls, her daughter loved stealing her jewellery, so she thought ‘why not get her some of her own?’ The matching bracelets can be customised to make them personal to each mother and daugher. KAYA jewellery gives a percentage of their profits over to the Eduki foundations for underprivelaged children in Gambia. I am always more receptive to small businesses that don’t have corporate aspirations. Find out more over at Kayajewellery.co.uk

I was sent a pair of ‘Mum and Me Shine’ bracelets. The childrens sizes start from from 0-6months, with over 20 charms to choose from. There are three adults sizes and the same large selection of charms.  See the full collection HERE

Our bracelets

I was sent an age 2- 3 years childrens bracelet and this fit my 22 month old daughter beautifully. The chain can extend so I could see this lasting for many years. I got a medium sized adults bracelet and this is 18cm in length. On the childrens charm it says ‘Love you to the moon and back’ and on the adults ‘Mum’. There are a huge selection of charms including Christening, Birthday, God Daughter, God Mother to name but a few, so they could be used as a special gift for so many different occassions.

The bracelets came packaged in lovely patterned pink silk bags. They looked fantastic and were comfortable to wear. Clearly well made, they would hold up to a fair bit of pulling from youngsters – anyone who has experience of toddlers will understand this consideration! (While children under 3 should never be left alone wearing jewellery, these are designed to be worn under supervision.)
My daughter loved the bracelet and pranced around showing it off to everyone. They look really attractive and I can imagine anyone being delighted to recieve one.

The pair of Mum and Me ‘shine’ bracelets retail at £36.90 including VAT with free delivery. This makes them very affordable. I would happily pay this for the set I was sent. The quality was fantastic and when worn they were really comfortable.

Kaya jewellery has a great selection of other jewellery available many of which can be engraved to make them fully personal.

To celebrate Mothers’ Day I am going to give away the matching mother and daughter bracelets I was sent!

  1. These are VERY cute. Do you think if we said they were for Mother and Child, and that they are gender neutral, Reub would wear one?? 🙈 😂
Jokes aside, they would be a lovely present to receive xx
